The Social World Podcast team is looking for a Social Media & Communications volunteer. This role is remote, along with optional team meetups in Bristol, UK.
The Social World Podcast is a long-running podcast (12 years, 180 episodes, and counting!) that focuses on safeguarding, preventing human trafficking, and platforming individuals who are making a significant positive impact globally. Hosted by David Niven, a leading safeguarding and child protection expert with a distinguished career spanning over five decades in social work, policy development, and training.
This voluntary and remote opportunity would suit someone with an interest in social work and safeguarding, as well as social media, graphics and audio editing.
The role will include:
Selecting key moments from episodes and editing audio clips for socials
Creating graphics to promote episodes on socials and in our newsletter
Copywriting captions and help with the monthly newsletter
Creating engaging short-form video and audio content
Expected time commitment, 8 hours/month (flexible).
