The Social World Podcast
With the aim of making a positive impact and raising the voices of key figures in the care sector, The Social World Podcast started in 2013 to serve as a platform to discuss the current landscape of social work in the United Kingdom.
Since then it’s evolved into an extensive network of experts, politicians, law enforcement and care professionals, covering a wide range of local and worldwide issues such as combating human trafficking and modern slavery, welfare and safeguarding as well as international policy.
With nearly 200 episodes freely available for education and academic research, The Social World Podcast serves as a comprehensive library of resources for study, policy and practice.

Filling the gap
So useful to have these podcasts to fill the gap in reporting in the media. Yes the papers and sometimes digital media talk about these issues but more often than not they are skated over. Good stuff.
